For the launch of Torno Subito, Massimo Bottura’s hit Italian restaurant in W Dubai - The Palm, the Little Owl Townhouse in the West Village was transformed into the Italian Riviera.
Recreating the restaurants bold menu, bright colors, and neon charm, Massimo and his chefs cooked up a replica dinner for 25 media editors. Guests took home a vintage cooler filled with Massimo’s favorite snack of parmigiano and aged balsamic. Attendees also enjoyed the Torno Subito recreated ambiance while guests captured the moment with polaroid cameras placed in the center of the table for use throughout the evening.
P.s - the electric atmosphere that Massimo created in the BOH kitchen was unlike anything I could have ever imagined. Watching him cook up close and hearing the way he describes his love for food was a memory I will never forget.
