Vans skated into NYFW with an exciting week-long series of events spanning from Soho all the way to Bushwick.
The Pop Up at 45 Grand rocked the community with a revival of the iconic Max Fish bar, featuring a surprise performance by TV on the Radio. Our opening night welcomed 450 exclusive guests, while the following days included specialty appointments and an open-to-the-public cocktail party catered by Pierce Abernathy. The venue showcased vintage TVs, a custom working juke box, and elements reminiscent of the original bar, including nostalgic real relics thrown into the mix (hint hint: the stickered pool table and the horse in the front window)!
The week concluded with a lively Block Party at Vans Skate Space and indoor skate park. This full street bash featured a local bar, three neighborhood food trucks, and a vibrant market with an Old Skool inflatable shoe, HoopFever, and eight fantastic skate vendors. From 3 PM to 1 AM, Vans hosted a thrilling lineup of six DJs, culminating in a skate rave featuring Jubilee and HiTech. The event drew over 2,000 attendees, uniting the community in a celebration of skate culture and creativity
